PRESCRIPTION COLLECTIONS

The collection time for prescriptions is 2 working days from the day of ordering. This does not include bank holidays or weekends.

To collect your prescription you can:

Nominate A Pharmacy

  • You may nominate ONE pharmacy to collect ALL your prescriptions - both repeat and acute items
  • Your prescriptions will ONLY be collected by your nominated pharmacy - this will save you a trip to the practice
  • You will need to tell the pharmacy each time you place an order with us
  • They can collect your prescription after 2 working days
  • Please allow time for the pharmacy to prepare your medication before you collect it
  • During the COVID Pandemic you may need to allow more time for the prescription to be processed 
  • Please do not telephone or call in to check on the progress of your prescription if it is within 72 hours of your request

Collect in Person

  • Collect your prescription from the practice 2 working days after you place your order

Nominate a Representative

  • You may nominate ONE person (16+ yrs) to collect your prescriptions on your behalf.
  • They may be asked for ID to confirm their identity

Please Note:

  • Please do not come early to collect your prescription
  • Anyone collecting prescriptions for Controlled Drugs will be required to sign the right hand side of the script to confirm collection
  • Prescriptions will not be handed out to children under 16 years
