The 2016 Flu Campaign will soon be upon us.

If you are pregnant, suffer from a chronic medical condition or are aged 65 or over, you are entitled to the Flu Vaccine. All 2yr to 4 yr old children are now eligable and will be vaccinated in the practice. P1 to P7 children will be vaccinated by the school healthcare team.

Letter and text invites will be sent to eligable patients throughout September 2016.

 

Treatment Room/ Test Results

 

The treatment room at the surgery is operated by South Eastern HSC Trust and is open:                                                                     

 

Monday           9am – 5.30pm                       (Closed for lunch 1pm-2pm)

Tuesday          9am – 5.30pm                       (Closed for lunch 1pm-2pm)

Wednesday     9am – 1pm       

Thursday         9am – 5.30pm                       (Closed for lunch 1pm-2pm)

Friday             9am – 5.30pm                       (Closed for lunch 1pm-2pm)

 

Patients wishing to see the treatment room nurse, should book an appointment at reception on arrival at the surgery.  Treatment will be carried out once a patient has seen a GP / nurse and the tests required have been confirmed.

Test and blood samples are collected daily for processing by Belfast Trust Labs at 11.30am and 3.00pm. bloodsamples

The GP will inform you if your sample needs to be analysed the same day. Please attend before the lab collection time if this is the case.

 

Results of tests and investigations are available by telephoning the surgery. For reasons of confidentiality, results cannot be given to anyone other than the patient, unless their permission has been given to the surgery in advance.
